African American physicians throughout the United States and multi-denominational faith-based health commissions are working with the African American Health Network (AAHN), in a national disease-specific program that will also reach out to the patient populations of selected physicians, church congregations, local communities, and teaching hospitals. Screenings will be offered in many chronic disease states at these locations and at pharmacy retailers. The current audience is 25,000 African American physicians nationally, and as many as 5 million African American patients. Rx/OTC Partnership Benefits: The participating mfg. will be the only pharmaceutical addressing specific disease states, to the physician, their patients, and members of local church congregations. |
